Instrument maintenance
Storage of violin: The violin is a delicate instrument that requires a high storage environment. The air should not be too dry, too humid, or stored in direct sunlight. When not in use for a long time, the strings should be loosened to avoid changing the tone of the piano due to prolonged tension. After practicing the piano, it should be placed back in the piano case. When placed upright, the head of the piano should face upwards, and when placed flat, it should not be placed upside down.
The wiping method of rosin: To ensure sufficient friction between the violin bow hair and the strings, before using the violin, an appropriate amount of instrument rosin should be wiped on the bow hair according to the friction degree of the bow. After rotating the bow rod screw to the appropriate tightness, repeatedly rub the rosin with the bow hair several times.

The position of the qin horse: The qin horse is mainly responsible for transmitting vibration, transmitting the vibration of the strings to the sound beam, and then transmitting it to the entire qin box to generate resonance. Therefore, the qin horse needs to be placed at the position where the two f-holes are connected at the center of the sound beam.
Cleaning of the piano body: It is necessary to regularly wipe the piano body with a clean and soft cloth to avoid excessive rosin and dust accumulation on the piano body, which can affect the sound quality over time. Be careful not to use alcohol or other chemical reagents to clean the piano, as this will remove the paint and shorten the lifespan of the piano.
The elasticity of the bow hair: The bow hair needs to be tightened every time it is used, with a distance of about one small finger thickness between the bow hair and the bow rod. After each use of the instrument, the bow hair must be loosened to avoid irreversible damage to the bow hair and bow rod caused by prolonged tension.
